Job summary

Quaker Houghton seeks a Customer Order & Export Specialist to manage end-to-end order-to-cash for international customers, validate POs in JDE, ensure pricing, availability, and accurate master data. You will coordinate international shipments, prepare export documentation, and collaborate with freight forwarders to ensure compliance.

You will support intercompany planning, maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams, and drive continuous improvements in service levels.

Responsibilities

• Customer Order Management: Manage the complete order-to-cash process for assigned international customers and intercompany affiliates, validate POs in JDE, ensure pricing, product availability and delivery terms, maintain master data and communicate order status.
• Export Operations: Coordinate international shipments, prepare export documents (invoices, packing lists, origin certificates, DG docs, export declarations, bills of lading), and collaborate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure Incoterms compliance.
• Intercompany Customer Support: Manage supply relationships with regional affiliates and production sites, monitor inventory availability and allocation for intercompany demand, support global planning and supply chain alignment.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with customers, sales teams and internal stakeholders; support onboarding and account maintenance; participate in reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supply Chain Coordination: Work with Production Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics and Warehousing; manage product allocation during constraints; monitor shipment execution and delivery performance; escalate disruptions and develop mitigations.
• Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with export controls, customs, dangerous goods regulations, industry standards and company policies; maintain transaction records and audit documentation; support audits as required.
• Performance Management: Monitor and report key customer service metrics such as customer satisfaction, order cycle time and backlog management.
