Job summary

The DeLong Co., Inc. is seeking an Export Clerk to process container and bulk shipment documents in a full-time, non-exempt role in Wisconsin. The position requires accurate paperwork, collaboration with customers and shipping lines, and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities include reviewing documents, inputting AES data, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining records. A high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and third-party website experience.
• Ability to communicate and work well in a team setting.
• Customer service experience preferred (6 months).
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate export paperwork in a timely manner for customers prior to shipment arriving at destination.
• Provide information or answer inquiries promptly with other departments, customers and shipping lines.
• Problem solving within the company and with outside sources regarding quality, quantity or other concerns.
• Review export documents for accuracy and completeness per company standards.
• Input AES and Manifest bookings; Enter L/C or shipping instructions for Phytos via government sites.
• Maintain organized folders and filing system; scan and copy documents.
• Use courier services (FedEx, UPS, DHL) to track shipments and label creation.
