Job summary

Nordson is seeking a Senior Export Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely export documentation, including shipper's letters of instruction, invoices and packing lists, while coordinating shipping with internal teams and designated freight forwarders.

The role requires 4-6 years in shipping/logistics with international experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Degree in related field and/or export certifications a plus.
• 4-6 years of experience in shipping/logistics with international shipping, and/or export experience preferred.
• Previous SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely completion of export documentation, including shipper's letters of instruction, invoices, and packing lists, in compliance with governmental, customer-specific, and LC and CAD requirements.
• Interface with internal and external customers, freight forwarders, international customer service, documentary companies, and the shipping department to ensure timely coordination and logistics of shipments.
• Ensure compliance with export administration and control within government rules and regulations, including filing of appropriate EEI.
• Document and maintain work instructions related to job functions and country-specific requirements.
• Assist with other duties as required.

The Senior Export Coordinator is responsible for accurate and timely completion of export documentation, and coordination of export shipping arrangements both internally, and externally with designated freight forwarders.Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides accurate and timely completion of required export documentation, inclusive of shipper’s letters of instruction, invoices, and packing lists in compliance with governmental, customer specific, and Letter of Credit and Cash Against Documents requirements.Interfaces with internal and external customers, freight forwarders, international customer service, documentary companies, and the shipping department to ensure timely coordination and logistics of shipments.Ensures compliance with export administration and control within government rules and regulations, including accurate and timely filing of appropriate Electronic Export Information.Assists with documenting and maintaining work instructions as related to job specific functions as well as customer and country specific requirements.Other duties may be assigned as required.Education and Experience RequirementsEducation:High School Diploma or GED required.Degree in related field and/or Export related certifications a plus.Experience:4-6 years of experience in shipping/logistics with international shipping, and/or export experience preferredPrevious SAP experience preferred.Preferred Skills and AbilitiesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Outstanding communication and customer service skills.Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasksAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Working Conditions and Physical DemandsOffice environment.
