Job summary

McLane Global, a leading food-grade logistics company headquartered in Houston, TX, is seeking an Export Documentation Specialist to join its international team. You will prepare export documentation for ocean, air, and land shipments, validate data, and coordinate with sales, warehouse, freight forwarders, and customers.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s or associate degree in logistics or related fields, 2–3 years of relevant experience, and strong MS Excel/ERP skills.

• Detailed oriented, strong computer skills including MS Excel and ERP like D365.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong work ethic and desire to win and grow.

Responsibilities

• Prepare export documentation for ocean, air, and land shipments.
• Process commercial invoices, COOs, Free Sale Certificates, and other country-specific documents.
• Communicate with sales teams, warehouse, freight forwarders, vendors, USDA and customers.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of export shipments.
• Maintain organized and cataloged export files.
• Monitor accounts payable/receivable to ensure timely payments.
• Ensure compliance with export laws and regulations.
• Manage sample procurement, packing, and shipment via UPS/DHL.
• Support the international sales team in other duties as assigned.
