Job summary

Core Laboratories is seeking an Export Documentation Specialist responsible for preparing and managing export paperwork to ensure compliance with U.S. and international trade rules. You will coordinate shipments, including Hazmat, and keep accurate records for audits and regulatory needs.

The role requires a strong eye for detail, the ability to work with freight forwarders and internal teams, and experience with EAR, ITAR classifications and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics certification preferred.
• 3+ years in export documentation and international shipping.
• Experience with Hazmat shipping regulations (DOT, IATA, IMDG).
• Hazmat/Dangerous Goods certification preferred.
• Data entry with Ten-Key.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review export documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, customs declarations).
• Manage Hazmat shipping documentation per DOT, IATA, IMDG regulations.
• Ensure shipments meet international trade regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics providers to arrange transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of shipped goods and update inventory systems.
• Communicate shipping instructions with sales/customers to ensure timely delivery.
• Address shipping delays, documentation errors, or customs issues promptly.
• Maintain export records for audits and government reporting.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update processes.
• Support internal teams with export compliance training and guidance.
