Job summary

AST SpaceMobile seeks a U.S. Export Control Specialist to support trade compliance within our Supply Chain and Procurement function. You will manage export/import licensing, ensure ITAR/EAR compliance, and collaborate across teams to fulfill licensing requirements.

The role requires 3–5 years of export compliance experience, a bachelor’s degree, and familiarity with DECCS/SNAP-R or similar systems. This is an on-site position within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 3–5 years of experience in export/trade compliance.
• Working knowledge of ITAR and EAR preferred.
• Experience with export licensing processes and government systems (DECCS/SNAP-R).
• Familiarity with ECCN classifications and global trade concepts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for trade compliance and export licensing activities.
• Prepare and submit export and import license applications through US government systems.
• Ensure compliance with ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Classify components, products, and data per ECCN guidance.
• Partner with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Logistics on licensing needs.
• Assist in developing and executing licensing strategies.
• Maintain documentation and records related to licensing and compliance.
