Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United States is seeking a Compliance and Export Documentation Specialist to screen requests, classify goods, and prepare export paperwork to ensure adherence to US government shipping regulations.

You will coordinate with customers, forwarders, and internal teams, maintain records, and handle data entry and accuracy across invoices and shipments while delivering responsive service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Screen requests and recipients, identify and classify products, and prepare export documentation to comply with US government shipping regulations.
• Maintain monthly measurement logs by shipments, hand carries, and transport orders.
• Comply with international customs shipping regulations.
• Create systemic transactions for export documentation including international and inter-company invoices.
• Coordinate with destination freight forwarders for crated and hand carry shipments.
• Ensure document retention and storage is compliant.
• Provide customer service as liaison to resolve issues with international customers.
• Clarify customer complaints, determine causes, propose and implement solutions, and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Prepare and distribute documented correspondence accurately and promptly.
• Input data timely and verify data entry accuracy.
