Job summary

Ultimate Staffing seeks an Export & Customs Specialist to coordinate international shipments from the Los Angeles area. Qualifications

• 5+ years in export compliance or international logistics.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with HTS/Schedule B and ECCN classifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process export documentation, filings, and customs clearance paperwork.
• Ensure shipping documentation is accurate, complete, and released to carriers, freight forwarders, and customers on time.
• Maintain records of shipment milestones, including departures, arrivals, customs clearances, and proof of delivery.
• Review commercial invoices and shipping documents for compliance and accuracy.
• Apply HTS/Schedule B classifications and ECCN codes as required.
• Monitor and resolve documentation discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Generate reports and maintain data records related to export activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support efficient international shipping operations.
