Job summary

tarte cosmetics is seeking an Events Coordinator for a 6-month contract in New York, NY. The role will execute marketing events, work with PR, influencer, marketing and creative teams, and manage all on-site logistics.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in event planning, strong communication, and the ability to travel and work evenings/weekends. Experience with media/influencer events is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 2+ years' experience in event planning.
• Experience with media and/or influencer events is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot in real time.
• Frequent travel and evening/weekend hours during events.
• Domestic and international travel required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all event planning logistics including travel, venues, sourcing vendors, shipping products, on-site problem solving.
• Drive project timelines to stay organized and meet deadlines.
• Manage creative execution of events including branded collateral, décor and on-site setup.
• Brainstorm and source creative activations, vendors and activities for events.
• Seek out and facilitate collaboration with like-minded brands for event collaborations and gifting opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing as needed.
• Coordinate guest lists and invitations cross-functionally.
• Be main on-site contact for all events and manage department budget.
• Support HR and other departments for internal/corporate events.
• Manage 1-2 interns per semester.
