tarte cosmetics seeks a Social Media Coordinator to support the Founder & CEO. The role blends content creation, social strategy and executive support in a fast-paced environment, with hands-on filming, editing and community management.

Based in the NYC area, the position is hybrid, onsite at least three days weekly and requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and travel. You will manage the CEO’s calendar, coordinate with marketing teams, and craft platform-specific content that reflects

Qualifications

• 2+ years in social media management or related roles
• Experience with social content calendars
• Strong short-form video editing skills (CapCut)
• Knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat and trends
• Excellent copywriting and brand voice adaptation
• Highly organized with multiple deadlines
• Willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends
• Based in NYC area and onsite 3 days/week

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end creation and publishing of social content
• Create engaging content reflecting the CEO’s voice and personal brand
• Own and maintain the CEO’s social content calendar and publishing timelines
• Develop platform-specific ideas to support growth and storytelling
• Monitor trends and identify timely content opportunities
• Manage the CEO’s social media profiles and social commerce accounts
• Write captions and video scripts in the CEO’s voice
• Lead community management by engaging with followers
• Coordinate with internal teams for launches, events and brand moments
• Organize content files and approvals for efficient workflow
• Monitor performance and insights to improve reach and engagement
• Provide onsite content support during meetings, events, travel and launches
