Job summary

Avt Inc. is seeking a seasoned Technical Producer to lead corporate events from concept through live show and load-out. You will oversee budgets, coordinate with AV partners, internal teams, and vendors to deliver high-quality experiences on schedule.

You will mentor staff, manage labor crews, and ensure client satisfaction while meeting business objectives. Willingness to travel and extend hours is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience managing and directing corporate special events.
• Demonstrated leadership, management and accountability in event programs.
• Experience working with budgets at multiple levels and with $500k+ budgets.
• Deep knowledge of large-scale corporate events and productions.
• Ability to read audio-visual design documents and to translate them into event experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee resources to ensure high quality service delivery while pursuing continuous improvement.
• Follow department protocols for event planning and execution.
• Establish project plans and hold partners accountable.
• Coordinate with internal teams, warehouse, and external vendors to meet event needs.
• Train and develop future Technical Producers.
• Identify and source vendor/partner support, then manage relationships.
• Liaise with AV partners to incorporate needs into the overall event plan.
• Track budget costs and communicate scope changes to the Account Manager.
• Serve as onsite main point of contact for production and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate across Sales, Finance, Creative and other teams to deliver the project as intended.
• Maintain high attention to detail and clear written/verbal communication.
• Monitor expenses and ensure invoices reflect approved event costs.
• Provide timely solutions for presentation needs under pressure.
• Respond quickly to requests during events in progress.
• Ensure quality of service delivered by part-time staff and union labor.
• Coach and develop staff with timely performance feedback.
• Execute any other duties as assigned.
