Job summary

Altera seeks a Director of Equity Administration & Compensation to lead global equity programs and support design, governance, and execution across Finance, HR, Legal, Payroll and Tax. This highly visible role partners with senior management to establish scalable processes, strong controls, and an excellent employee experience.

The candidate will oversee end-to-end equity administration, manage grants and ESPP, ensure data integrity, and drive compliant reporting across multiple jurisdictions

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in equity administration, stock plan administration, compensation, or related areas.
• Strong knowledge of RSUs, ESPPs, and partnership/profits interests.
• Experience administering complex equity programs in a global organization.
• Significant experience partnering across Finance, HR, Legal, Payroll and Tax.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead an equity administration function.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end administration of global equity programs (RSUs, ESPP, etc.).
• Manage equity transactions including grants, vesting, settlements, forfeitures, and ESPP elections.
• Establish scalable equity administration processes, controls, and governance.
• Oversee equity platform data integrity and reporting for management.
• Collaborate with Legal on plan governance and securities requirements.
• Coordinate with Finance on accounting, valuations, disclosures, and reporting.
• Work with Payroll and Tax on withholding and global tax requirements.
