Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking a Senior Accountant / Entity Accounting Lead for a FinTech / Enterprise AI role in New York, NY. You will own the global month-end close, governance, and controls, reporting to the Accounting Manager.

The position oversees US and international entity accounting, runs documented processes, and manages intercompany billing along with audit support. Strong GAAP, ERP experience (NetSuite/Sage), and audit focus are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience (Public Accounting / High-Growth FinTech or Tech experience strongly preferred).
• Strong grounding in US GAAP with working familiarity with international/local statutory frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar) and advanced Excel modeling capabilities.
• Rigorous reconciliation discipline, clear documentation habits, and hands-on audit support experience.

Responsibilities

• Global Close & Financial Operations: Manage entity-level books under US GAAP on corporate deadlines and reconcile across US and international entities.
• AP Governance & External Audit: Supervise outsourced AP, ensure W-9/W-8 compliance, and support external audits with PBC items and workpapers.
