Lineage seeks a transformative Vice President of Global Engineering to lead Facility Engineering and Maintenance across ~20 countries. This executive will set the long-term engineering roadmap and build world-class teams, driving lean transformation and measurable KPI delivery in a fast‑growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain a high-performance global engineering organization through talent acquisition, onboarding, development, and retention.
• Design and execute robust succession planning and career pathing programs to develop world-class leaders.
• Establish a culture of coaching, mentoring, and continuous learning across regions.
• Partner with HR to assess capability, close skill gaps, and build a diverse pipeline of leaders and technicians.
• Lead Global Regional Engineering Directors to build aligned, accountable teams across four regions.
• Foster cross-regional collaboration and adoption of best practices to raise performance network-wide.
• Create a unified engineering culture with a transparent improvement mindset across all levels.
• Navigate complexities of dispersed teams with locally tailored leadership and global consistency.
• Own and deliver KPIs including energy efficiency, maintenance cost per unit, and asset performance.
• Improve engineering metrics dashboards and report trends, risks, and actions to senior leadership.
• Manage annual operating and capital budget; ensure resource alignment with priorities.
• Drive year-over-year cost and reliability improvements through strategic direction.
• Champion lean methodologies and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Lead lean transformation initiatives to reduce waste, downtime, and improve service quality.
• Develop leaders who identify opportunities and drive rapid change.
• Define and standardize lean operating procedures and maintenance protocols.
• Identify and champion emerging technologies, including AI-powered maintenance and automation.
• Build a strategic technology roadmap balancing near-term needs with long-term innovation.
• Collaborate with IT, Data Science, Finance, and Commercial for ROI and competitive advantage.
• Stay ahead of refrigeration and facility infrastructure trends to maintain leadership.
• Contribute to the Global Operations Leadership Team's strategic agenda.
• Partner with Ops, Safety, Finance, HR, and Commercial to support business goals.
• Oversee safety, compliance, and regulatory programs across jurisdictions.
• Manage a capital asset fleet over $100M with lifecycle planning and risk controls.
