Job summary

Ingram Micro Inc. is seeking a visionary Vice President of Global Engineering to define and execute the engineering strategy across our high-volume global supply chain.

You will lead site engineering, network design, automation, and systems initiatives, partnering with Operations, IT, and Finance to deliver scalable, cost-effective solutions. The role requires 10–15+ years in engineering/ops leadership, executive experience in a global environment, and a track record of delivering large-scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Master’s degree in Engineering is preferred.
• MBA strongly preferred.
• 10–15+ years of progressive experience in engineering, supply chain, or operations leadership.
• Minimum of 5 years in an executive leadership role within a global, matrixed, high-volume organization (Fortune 100 or similar environment preferred).
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale supply chain transformations, automation programs, and global systems implementations.
• Demonstrated experience with ROI delivery and capital investments (>$50M).

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate a global vision and strategy for supply chain engineering.
• Lead global engineering functions including site engineering, network optimization, automation, and capital projects.
• Establish global standards, methodologies, and performance metrics for consistency and scalability.
• Oversee global roadmaps and execution of initiatives across distribution, transportation, and end-to-end supply chain operations.
• Own the definition and global rollout of supply chain execution systems (WMS, TMS, YMS, OMS) in partnership with Technology leadership.
• Partner with regional leaders to standardize core processes and deliver actionable insights.
• Develop budgets and govern capital investments; lead vendor relationships and ROI analyses.
• Lead a global organization and foster leadership development across functions.
