Job summary

Xcede is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead large-scale modernization and digital transformation initiatives for a Fortune 500 global organization. This leadership role reports directly to the CTO and helps shape the engineering strategy, technology roadmap, and modernization initiatives.

You will drive ERP modernization, cloud migration, and AI/ML/RPA adoption while building high-performing teams across geographies.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in software engineering, technology, or enterprise IT leadership.
Proven track record leading large-scale engineering organizations or teams.
Strong background in cloud transformation and enterprise modernization.
Experience with ERP platforms and large-scale ERP initiatives.
Exposure to AI/ML, RPA, IoT, and emerging technologies.
Experience leading digital transformation initiatives within complex enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of modern cloud and engineering architectures.
Demonstrated ability to work with C-suite and executive stakeholders.
Experience managing global or geographically distributed engineering teams.
Strong strategic leadership combined with the ability to drive execution.

Develop and execute engineering strategies aligned with broader business objectives.

Partner with senior technology and business leadership to deliver large-scale transformation programs.
Establish engineering standards, architecture practices, and delivery methodologies.
Drive modernization of legacy platforms and enterprise technology environments.
Manage complex, cross-functional technology initiatives from strategy through execution.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
