Job summary

Ingram Micro Inc. seeks a visionary Vice President of Global Engineering to define and execute the worldwide engineering strategy across supply chain operations.

You will lead across operations engineering, network design, automation, systems, and customer solutions to drive scalability, cost optimization, and operational excellence. The role requires 10–15+ years in engineering/ops leadership, with at least 5 years in an executive capacity within a global, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required).
• 10–15+ years of progressive experience in engineering, supply chain, or operations leadership.
• Minimum of 5 years in an executive leadership role within a global, matrixed, high-volume organization.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale supply chain transformations and automation programs.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate a global vision and strategy for supply chain engineering aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Lead global engineering functions including site engineering, facilities design, network optimization, capacity planning, automation, and large-scale capital projects.
• Establish global standards, methodologies, and performance metrics for consistency and scalability across regions.
• Oversee global engineering roadmaps and execution of strategic initiatives supporting distribution, transportation, and end-to-end supply chain operations.
