Job summary

Ingram Micro is seeking a seasoned Executive Director of Global Sourcing to lead Professional Services and Marketing sourcing globally. You will build a Center of Excellence, drive best-practice standards, and partner with senior leaders to deliver cost savings and risk management across the organization.

The role requires leadership of the India Sourcing team, development of category strategies, and ongoing capability building to elevate sourcing execution in a fast-paced global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Procurement or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience with increasing leadership responsibilities, and a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory/management level position.
• Strong Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management skills.
• Excellent business acumen, financial, cost modeling, data analysis, and root cause problem solving skills.
• Experience negotiating complex contracts including strategic partnerships, pricing, SLAs, and other terms and conditions.
• Ability to track and manage supplier performance and set expectations for improvement.
• Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of end-to-end processes, determining business requirements, and process improvement.
• Supports and promotes cross functional team efforts, acting as process architect and organizational change agent.

Responsibilities

• Lead global sourcing for Professional Services and Marketing with over $150M spend.
• Develop and execute global category strategies across key value segments.
• Negotiate best-in-class agreements leveraging should-cost models and RFPs to reduce total cost of ownership.
• Manage supplier performance via SLAs, KPI scorecards, and quarterly reviews.
• Build strategic supplier relationships and align capabilities with business needs.
• Monitor and mitigate supply risk using market intel and inflation mitigation strategies.
• Lead the India Sourcing team with coaching, objective setting, and career development.
• Drive capability building through training, standardization, and global tools adoption.
• Establish KPIs for the team and report progress to senior leadership.
• Create a Global Sourcing Center of Excellence with best-practice standards and analytics.
