Job summary

Lilly is seeking an experienced engineer to lead design delivery for capital projects at a project site. The role requires directing design teams (Lilly and external partners), coordinating with the Project Manager, and enforcing design standards and regulatory requirements to ensure successful delivery.

The position emphasizes on-site weekly work, collaboration across disciplines, and delivering value through rigorous design governance and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required; chemical or mechanical preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of manufacturing/engineering experience in pharma or API networks.
• Ability to work on-site weekly at project locations.

Responsibilities

• Overall design delivery for capital projects on a multi-node program and lead a design team.
• Direct teams with Lilly and external partners for project success at the site.
• Influence asset design approaches and ensure compliance with standards and regs.
• Lead identification of design standards, specifications and regulatory guidance.
• Coordinate design phases and deliver conceptual and basic design reviews.
