Job summary

CSL Behring is seeking a Global Category Management lead to drive category strategies across the CSL group, guiding major sourcing initiatives and transforming procurement activities with senior stakeholders and key vendors.

The role emphasizes leadership of global teams, adherence to CSL policies, and delivering value through cost of ownership reduction, risk management, and supplier performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in strategic sourcing or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years senior leadership experience, preferably global.
• Minimum 5 years in global team management.
• Strong communication and ability to handle ambiguity.
• Understanding of A&E/EPC/EPCM, CQV/CSV categories.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop global category strategies aligned with CSL Procurement Strategy.
• Lead complex negotiations with major suppliers and regional sourcing.
• Establish SRM processes and manage supplier risk per global policies.
• Monitor KPIs and conduct operational reviews to ensure performance.
• Develop talent and succession planning within Procurement.
• Engage internal and external stakeholders to drive procurement improvements.
