Job summary

CSL is seeking a Global Category Management Lead to drive category strategies and procurement excellence across CSL Group. You will oversee global teams, manage large-scale sourcing programs, and partner with senior stakeholders and major vendors to deliver value and reduce TCO.

The role requires deep experience in strategic sourcing, global team leadership, and strong negotiation and SRM capabilities, with a focus on compliance and risk management across regions. Domestic travel required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years’ experience in strategic sourcing or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years senior leadership experience, ideally global.
• Minimum 5 years in global team management.
• Strong communication and influencing skills; able to handle ambiguity.
• Understanding of the A&E/EPC/EPCM, CQV/CSV categories and business.
• Experience in pharmaceutical industry preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop global category strategies aligned with CSL strategy to reduce total cost of ownership and risk.
• Lead complex negotiations with major suppliers and advise regional sourcing.
• Establish and manage SRM processes per global policies and drive value beyond savings.
• Monitor supply performance KPIs and conduct regular Operational Reviews.
• Develop talent and leadership within the Procurement organization.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders and senior executives with CSL and vendors.
• Drive global transformation projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
