Job summary

Dow Jones Energy Sponsorship Sales and Business Development Representative is responsible for prospecting and closing new sponsorship sales and group registrations for global events. You will build relationships with trade associations, publications, and organizations, coordinating with marketing and editorial teams to qualify and develop opportunities.

You will report to the Executive Director - Conference & Event Operations and travel ~5–10% domestically or internationally to solidify sponsor

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in conference and event sponsorship sales, energy industry preferred.
• Strong customer relationship and prospecting skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop new sponsorship opportunities and respond to leads.
• Close sales for assigned events and expand external outreach.
• Build relationships with associations and publications to grow sponsorships.
• Coordinate with marketing and editorial teams to qualify and develop prospects.
• Ensure timely completion of contracts and paperwork.
