Job summary

Apptronik is seeking a Global Supply Manager — Electrical & Electronics to own sourcing strategy for PCB, PCBA/EMS, harnessing, compute modules, sensors, and board-level components. You will define supply-base architectures, run RFQs, and lead supplier selection and agreements.

You will develop should-cost models, negotiate terms, and build multi-year cost-reduction roadmaps with engineering collaboration for NPI and production ramp.

Qualifications

• Direct ownership of electronics commodities in a strategic sourcing role.
• Experience in two or more: PCB fabrication, PCBA/EMS, wire harness, compute hardware, sensors.
• Proven should-cost modeling and negotiation results for electronics categories.
• Experience building commodity cost roadmaps with design-to-cost.
• Experience qualifying suppliers internationally and managing regional risk.
• Read schematics, BOMs, and test specs; collaborate with electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own commodity strategy for PCB fabrication, PCBA/EMS, harness, compute modules, sensors, and board components.
• Define supply-base architecture including prototype and volume partners, and regional alternates.
• Create RFQs/RFPs, lead supplier selection and contract awards.
• Develop should-cost models addressing main cost drivers (layers, panel usage, test strategy).
• Negotiate pricing, NRE, tooling, MOQs, NCNR, capacity reservations; own MSAs and tooling ownership.
• Own commodity cost targets and multi-year cost-reduction roadmaps with design-to-cost initiatives.
• Maintain costed-BOM visibility and identify gaps against program BOM targets.
• Drive multi-source coverage and build redundancy for critical content.
• Build AVL/AML strategy and qualification criteria for suppliers.
• Manage supplier performance with scorecards and business reviews.
• Present cost reviews and risks to engineering and leadership.
• Transition awarded suppliers to buyers with pricing/lead times documented.
