Caterpillar Inc. is hiring a Senior Manager, Engineering for BCP Electrical Systems based in Clayton, NC; Sanford, NC; or Desford, UK.
You will lead a global engineering organization responsible for electrical architecture, schematics, wiring harnesses, and controlled components for the BCP lineup. You will collaborate with Product Directors, Cat Technology teams, and procurement to translate plans into executable designs, develop talent, manage obsolescence, and ensure safety and cost
Qualifications
- Leadership experience managing diverse engineering teams across locations.
- Experience translating technology plans into electrical architecture and components.
- Strong collaboration with Product, Cat Technology, and Procurement teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead a global engineering team with managers in multiple locations.
- Oversee NPIs, CPI projects, and product maintenance for Electrical Systems.
- Own supplier relations and on-site co-development for harnesses in US/UK.
- Ensure quality, performance, and cost objectives across engineering activities.
- Develop talent and processes for long-term Electrical Systems capability.
