Avantor is seeking a Senior Director of Global Governance, Assurance & Strategy for EHS3 to define and execute the long-term strategy across governance, compliance, sustainability, risk management and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health, or related field.
• Minimum 15+ years of progressive global leadership experience within EHS, Security, Sustainability, Governance, Risk, or Compliance.
• Experience leading large, multi-functional organizations and influencing executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term strategy for the global EHS3 function across governance and assurance.
• Lead enterprise-wide governance frameworks, standards, and performance measures.
• Drive regulatory compliance, audit programs, and risk management across sites worldwide.
• Oversee budget, workforce planning, and transformational initiatives for EHS3.
• Partner with executive leadership to set priorities and shape multi-year plans.
