Qualifications

• BS/BA in Environmental Health & Safety, industrial hygiene, occupational safety, environmental science, engineering, life sciences, or related discipline; an advanced degree preferred.
• At least 18 years of progressively responsible EHS experience at executive level in global pharma.
• Experience leading EHS for a multinational pharmaceutical company with global strategy, governance, audit and executive reporting.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise EHS strategy, governance, policies, and operating model for a global pharmaceutical company.
• Lead global expansion and office openings with due diligence and site readiness.
• Develop scalable EHS programs for a worldwide workforce including remote/hybrid employees and field-based environments.
• Integrate EHS risk into enterprise risk management, planning, and business continuity.
• Maintain a risk-based compliance framework covering safety, environmental protection, and health requirements.
• Serve as the principal EHS advisor to the Board and executive leadership on risks and priorities.
• Build and develop a high-performing global EHS organization and governance network.
• Establish metrics, audits, and management reviews to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide incident, crisis, and governance leadership for significant EHS events.
