Job summary

Industry-Leading, Diverse Specialty Chemicals Platform (Confidential) seeks an executive to lead global EHS across US, Europe, and Asia, building the safety operating system and embedding site leadership ownership across a multi-site network.

You will drive process safety, governance, and continuous improvement through credible partnership with site leaders, operations, and the broader enterprise, delivering durable safety performance even as campaigns and sites evolve.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in EHS and process safety leadership in specialty chemicals manufacturing.
• Built an EHS management system across multi-site networks with site baselines and governance.
• Ability to engage site leaders and operations executives without direct reports to them.
• Ownership of process safety management across dissimilar chemistries including PHA quality and MOC.
• Experience across at least two regions (US/Europe/Asia) with OSHA PSM/COMAH/Seveso alignment.
• Chemical engineering degree strongly preferred; CSP/CIH/CSHM/CHMM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build global EHS operating system with standards and governance across the network.
• Lead enterprise process safety and risk management across high-pressure and multipurpose sites.
• Coach site leaders to own safety and move from compliance to ownership.
• Integrate leading and lagging indicators into daily/weekly management cadence.
• Oversee incident leadership, investigations, and corrective action closure.
• Own site security, emergency response and Responsible Care program.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and integrate EHS into capital and acquisition decisions.
• Develop bench strength and succession for global EHS leadership.
