Job summary
Ladders is seeking a Vice President, Global Environmental, Health, and Safety to lead EHS across a global manufacturing footprint. You will shape enterprise-wide strategies, drive compliance, risk reduction, and sustainability, and partner with operations to strengthen safety culture and performance tracking.
Remote role based in the US, requiring strong leadership across Americas and Europe, with oversight of ISO programs and regulatory compliance to support long-term business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (risk management or Safety Engineering)
- 10–15 years of leadership experience in a global manufacturing environment
- Expertise in international safety requirements across Americas and Europe
- Experience implementing ISO 9001, 14001, and 18001 programs
- Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills for compliance-focused environments
Responsibilities
- Drive a proactive safety culture throughout the organization
- Design and improve enterprise-wide environmental, health, and safety strategies
- Establish goals and KPIs for safety and sustainability and report on progress
- Assess and implement effective safety organizational structures and training
- Lead safety initiatives using matrix leadership across various departments
- Provide thought leadership and facilitate knowledge sharing across teams
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Monitor sustainability programs and align them with strategic goals
