Job summary

nVent is seeking an experienced EHS leader to drive safety and environmental programs across multiple facilities in the United States. The role partners with stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and progress toward sustainability goals within the Integrated Supply Chain team.

A strong focus on zero-harm culture and proactive EHS tool deployment is required. The successful candidate will lead environmental processes, support hazardous waste management, and help

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, Operations, Engineering, or business-related field; MBA or master's level education preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience leading all aspects of safety and environmental management systems.
• Previous experience leading safety across construction, field services and multi-site manufacturing environments.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS initiatives across multiple facilities and cultures; champion a zero-harm culture.
• Coordinate and harmonize EHS programs; share best practices and drive communication.
• Develop strategic EHS plans with business needs; monitor, analyze and report on progress.
• Provide clear direction to site teams to drive safety culture and compliance.
• Lead efforts to implement Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and ISO certifications.
