Job summary

Stryker seeks a Director, EHS - Assurance and Risk to provide enterprise-wide oversight of Environmental, Health & Safety performance. This role drives the global assurance strategy across manufacturing, commercial, and distribution operations, ensuring compliance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of EHS leadership experience in global, regulated industries.
• Deep expertise in auditing, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Experience leading multi-site/global assurance programs and communicating with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of the global EHS assurance and audit program.
• Maintain internal standards via self-assessments across regions and units.
• Ensure audits cover regulatory compliance and management system effectiveness.
• Drive ISO 14001/45001 certification and audit methodology standardization.
• Own and maintain the enterprise EHS risk register and risk prioritization.
