Job summary

Vantage Oleochemicals, Inc. in Deerfield, IL, is seeking a Global EH&S Director to establish and audit the company’s global safety and environmental strategy across manufacturing sites.

You will report to the COO and partner with site leadership to drive regulatory compliance, risk management, and a proactive safety culture with leadership involvement. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical EH&S field and 12+ years of progressive EH&S experience in chemical/high-hazard manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership across multiple facilities and in budgeting for EH&S programs.
• Strong practical experience with OSHA regulations, PSM, and EPA RMP requirements.
• Experience implementing behavior-based safety programs and driving ownership of safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global EH&S strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive Behavior-Based Safety program across sites.
• Provide corporate leadership on OSHA regulations, PSM, and EPA RMP across locations.
• Establish EH&S metrics, governance, and reporting to the COO and executive team.
• Oversee auditing programs, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Drive culture of continuous improvement and regulatory compliance across global operations.
