Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years of relevant experience required.
  • 1 year experience in customer service or communications, including analyzing & interpreting information.
  • 1 year experience in operation of computers and related peripheral equipment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to students and the Global Education team with a student-first approach.
  • Maintain process documentation in the Global Education application system for approved programs and travel registrations.
  • Oversee assessment, payment instructions, and removal of fees for programs as appropriate.
  • Assist in monitoring the accuracy of Global Education application workflows.
  • Perform data cleaning and maintenance to ensure accuracy of student records.

The Systems and Administration Team is led by the Lead Global Education Systems Analyst, and this position reports directly to the Global Education Systems Analyst. The role works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective administration of Global Education programs and services while maintaining a strong student-first approach.Duties include providing services to students and the Global Education team with a strong student-first approach, including:Maintaining process documentation in the Global Education application system for Ohio State-approved Global Education programs and travel registration applications.Overseeing the assessment, payment instructions, and removal, as appropriate, of fees associated with Global Education programs.Assisting the Lead Global Education Systems Analyst and Global Education Systems Analyst in monitoring the accuracy of Global Education application workflows.Performing data cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of student program records.Maintaining course enrollment permission groups for Global Education courses.Supporting the Global Education scholarship awarding process.Managing administrative inboxes and responding to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the effective processing of Global Education applications.Contributing to a collaborative hybrid work environment while delivering high-quality customer service and operational support.Required Qualifications/Experience:High School diploma or GED.2 years of relevant experience required.1 years’ experience in customer service or communications, including analyzing & interpreting information1 years’ experience in operation of computers and related peripheral equipmentknowledge of Microsoft suiteStrong attention to detail.Desired Qualifications/Experience:Bachelor’s or equivalent combination of education/experienceDesired candidate has an interest in International EducationExperience resolving complex issuesComfortable interfacing with multiple information systemsPossesses strong communication skills when working with different teams and stakeholdersAble to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working independently as well as across multiple teamsAdditional Information:The target hiring range for this job profile is $ 18.37 - $26.00 The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.Function: Academic AdministrationSubfunction: International ProgramsBand: TechnicalLevel: 3Location:Enarson Classroom Building (0072)Position Type:RegularScheduled Hours:40Shift:First ShiftFinal candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
