Job summary

PAX Labs seeks a Director of E-Commerce to own our global DTC engine end-to-end, spanning US, Canada, UK, and EU, driving revenue, margin, and customer experience across multi-storefront and headless commerce in a highly regulated environment.

Lead CRO, merchandising, lifecycle, loyalty, and marketplace initiatives; partner with engineering, marketing, and finance to scale growth in a compliant, consumer-first way. Equity, benefits, and a mission-driven culture await.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of end-to-end e-commerce leadership in consumer brands.
• Experience owning a DTC P&L with revenue/margin growth responsibility.
• Expert Shopify knowledge, including headless setups (Builder.io) and multi-store operations.
• Experience with advertising restrictions and compliance in regulated categories (cannabis/CBD).
• Strong data-driven decision making in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the Global Storefront Ecosystem: manage Shopify headless storefronts, CRO, merchandising, catalog, promotions, and localization.
• Direct paid media strategy and organic discovery to improve funnel efficiency in a restricted environment.
• Own attribution stack (GA4, Triple Whale, Shopify) for ROAS-based decisions.
• Drive lifecycle marketing via Klaviyo, with segmentation and personalization to grow LTV.
• Build loyalty and omnichannel programs across DTC, retail, and dispensaries.
• Scale channels including referrals, affiliates, marketplaces, and retail-to-DTC programs.
• Navigate regulatory complexity: age verification, shipping rules, and payments compliance.
• Own DTC P&L, forecast demand with finance, and report to executive leadership.
• Lead a lean team and agency partnerships, ensuring integrated tools and high standards.
