Job summary

Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. seeks a Director of Oncology Medical Engagement Excellence (MedEngageX) to lead global medical engagement strategy, aligning field medical activities with corporate science and patient outcomes.

This role partners with WW Medical, GCO, and MEOR to ensure high-quality medical communications and training across markets. The ideal candidate has a medical/scientific background with 5+ years in Medical Affairs, oncology experience, and strong leadership skills to influence

Qualifications

• Advanced medical/scientific background (PhD, MD, PharmD) with 5+ years of experience within Medical Affairs in Pharma or Biotech company required.
• Experience in working on global or above-market level preferred.
• Therapeutic area expertise in oncology strongly preferred.
• Ability to lead and influence across a matrixed organization and collaborate across multiple markets.
• Experience in developing medical strategy and objectives for an asset portfolio.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills; ability to synthesize data and communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead global medical engagement strategy for Oncology assets; align with WW Medical, MEG, and GCO.
• Coordinate field medical teams to ensure consistent scientific narrative and insights to action.
• Drive FIRe forums, Insights to Action, and AI-enabled tools adoption to improve impact.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards across markets.
