Job summary

Starwood Hotels is seeking an exceptional Corporate Director of Engineering to lead engineering operations and capital planning across our luxury and lifestyle hotel portfolio. This senior role interfaces with finance, operations, design, sustainability, and IT to ensure safe, resilient, and efficient properties.

You will establish a portfolio-wide engineering framework, oversee major renovations, and guide critical building-system reliability while traveling to operating hotels as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or facilities engineering or equivalent.
• PE/CEM/LEED/CFM or similar credential preferred.
• Minimum 15 years in engineering, facilities, or technical operations leadership in luxury hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio-wide engineering operations and capital programs for luxury hotels.
• Own annual and multi-year CAPEX planning, major renovations, and infrastructure replacements.
• Standardize processes, resolve escalations, mentor regional leaders across properties.
