Job summary

Lotte Hotel Seattle seeks a Director of Engineering to lead engineering, maintenance, and facilities operations within a luxury hotel environment. You will ensure asset preservation, safety, reliability, and exceptional guest comfort across all building systems.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance programs, capital improvement initiatives, vendor management, and collaborating with hotel leadership to deliver a seamless guest experience while protecting property value and brand

Qualifications

Bachelor's/Associate's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
Progressive leadership experience in luxury hospitality.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and building systems.
Experience managing capital projects and vendor partnerships.
Familiarity with safety, regulatory, and risk management practices.

Responsibilities

Lead all engineering and maintenance operations to reflect luxury hospitality standards.
Oversee guest room, public space, and back-of-house systems operation.
Manage contractor relationships and ensure work meets brand standards.
Develop preventive maintenance programs to maximize reliability.
Oversee capital improvements and renovation projects.
Ensure safety, compliance, and risk management across property.
