Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years minimum of hands-on experience in a DevOps, deployment, or cloud/infrastructure operations role.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Customer Engagement: Proven track record in customer-facing, high-severity escalation, or technical advisor roles.

Responsibilities

• Escalation Ownership: Act as the primary technical escalation point for customer issues concerning DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and environment operations.
• Technical Diagnosis & Support: Partner directly with customer technical teams to investigate, gather context, review logs, validate configurations, and diagnose root causes.
• Issue Translation & Triage: Translate complex customer challenges into actionable problem statements for DevOps, SRE, and software engineering teams, assessing severity and prioritizing resolution.
• Platform & Infrastructure Expertise: Maintain an in-depth understanding of o9’s multi-cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployment models.
• Customer Advocacy & Communication: Provide transparent, timely updates throughout the incident lifecycle, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
• Continuous Improvement: Track recurring trends and collaborate with leadership to recommend process, tooling, and architectural enhancements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to continuously improve system reliability and the customer experience.
