Job summary

o9 Solutions is seeking a DevOps Tech Lead to serve as the primary technical escalation point for global customers, diagnosing issues across DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and environment operations. You will translate problems into actionable work for DevOps, SRE, and engineering teams.

You will maintain deep platform knowledge of o9’s multi-cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployment models, while communicating clearly with customers and colleagues to drive swift

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience in DevOps, deployment, or cloud/infrastructure operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Customer-facing escalation or technical advisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Escalation Ownership: act as the primary technical escalation point for customer issues concerning DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and environment operations.
• Technical Diagnosis & Support: work with customer tech teams to investigate, gather context, review logs, validate configurations, and diagnose root causes.
• Issue Translation & Triage: translate complex customer challenges into actionable problem statements for DevOps, SRE, and engineering teams.
• Platform & Infrastructure Expertise: maintain deep knowledge of o9’s multi-cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployment models.
• Customer Advocacy & Communication: provide transparent, timely updates throughout incident lifecycle as a trusted technical advisor.
• Continuous Improvement: track trends and work with leadership to suggest tooling and architectural enhancements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with Product, Engineering, and Support to improve reliability and customer experience.
