Job summary

New Energy Nexus is seeking a Director of Development Strategy & Operations to drive our global fundraising and partnerships strategy. You will translate frontline insights from country directors and program leads into prioritized initiatives and ensure the team is resourced and coordinated across markets.

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the platform-level development team, oversee CRM and pipeline systems, and develop collateral and budgets that align with organizational priorities while

Qualifications

• 8+ years in fundraising, development operations, or related strategy/ops.
• Strong ability to translate field input into strategy and prioritization.
• Experience coordinating a distributed team across chapters or country teams.
• Proven track record with CRM/pipeline systems and data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with climate/clean energy fundraising landscape is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prioritize a global development strategy based on funder signals and field learnings.
• Lead and coordinate the global platform-level development team with clear ownership and timelines.
• Build a central library of fundraising collateral and ensure material alignment with brand and messaging.
• Run an efficient operating rhythm: pipeline reviews, proposal coordination, and reporting.
• Partner with leadership to translate intelligence into actionable priorities and budgets.
• Provide tools and templates to country leads and fundraisers to raise funds effectively.
