Job summary

New Energy Nexus is seeking a Director of Development Strategy & Operations to lead the organization’s global fundraising strategy and operations. The role reports to the CEO and focuses on translating frontline intelligence into prioritized opportunities for a cohesive, high-impact development program.

The position emphasizes strategy, team leadership, and fundraising operations rather than donor-facing relationship management, with a global platform-level team and cross-country collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience across nonprofit fundraising/development and development operations.
• Experience turning frontline or field-level input into strategy and prioritization.
• People-management experience, including coaching and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize global fundraising strategy and prioritization.
• Lead and coordinate a distributed development team across countries and programs.
• Oversee CRM, pipeline reporting, and fundraising collateral.
