Job summary

Pfizer seeks a Global Development Lead to represent Clinical on the Global Medicine Team, serving as the single clinical accountable leader for development of assigned assets in Internal Medicine. You will lead a cross-functional Clinical Development Team to design, execute, and interpret studies for worldwide regulatory submissions.

The role includes creating and endorsing the Clinical Development Plan, partnering with external collaborators, and acting as an internal SME in clinical drug

Qualifications

• Endocrinologist or internal medicine physician with cardiometabolic late-stage development experience including type 2 diabetes.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in academia and/or the biopharmaceutical industry in clinical research and development.
• Extensive knowledge of clinical development, global and regional regulation, ICH/GCP, adverse event management.
• Demonstrated clinical/medical, administrative, and project management capabilities, as well as effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate milestones and ensure delivery of the clinical program in line with timelines and budget.
• Develop a comprehensive clinical development plan and associated protocol design documents.
• Provide input for target product profiles and regulatory activities.
• Lead regulatory submissions and contribute to submission deliverables.
• Provide input for development safety and other submission components.
