Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Global Development Lead for the Internal Medicine portfolio to drive clinical development programs and global submissions. The role requires coordinating a cross‑functional team across clinical, pharmacology, statistics, safety, and operations to design, execute and interpret studies for worldwide regulatory submissions.

The GDL will create and endorse the Clinical Development Plan, contribute to regulatory documents, and partner with external stakeholders as part of Pfizer's

Qualifications

• MD or DO with endocrinologist or internal medicine background and cardiometabolic late‑stage development experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in clinical R&D or biopharma.
• Extensive knowledge of clinical development, global/regional regulation, ICH/GCP, AE management.
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities in cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing and training large teams in clinical development.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate milestones with the Medicine Team Lead to deliver the clinical program on time and budget.
• Lead comprehensive clinical development plans to secure global approval and reimbursement.
• Provide input for target product profiles and regulatory submissions.
• Develop innovative clinical development strategies including digital and patient engagement.
