Job summary

Pfizer seeks a Global Development Lead (GDL) to represent Clinical on the Global Medicine Team and drive end-to-end clinical development for assigned assets within Internal Medicine. You will lead a cross-functional team across clinical, pharmacology, statistics, safety, and operations to design, execute and interpret studies for worldwide regulatory submissions.

The role requires SME-level therapeutic area knowledge, strong leadership, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

• Broad experience leading late-stage clinical development programs.
• Strong track record in academia and/or biopharma clinical research and development.
• Deep knowledge of clinical development, global/regional regulation, ICH/GCP, and safety management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cross-functional Clinical Development Team across clinical, pharmacology, statistics, safety, commercial, patient access and operations.
• Own and gain endorsement for the Clinical Development Plan and protocol designs.
• Drive regulatory submissions and provide input for target product profiles and labeling documents.
• Collaborate with external partners and internal teams to ensure study feasibility and timely execution.
• Provide medical monitoring support and input for trial governance and data interpretation.
