Job summary

Midea seeks a Demand Planning Manager to lead end-to-end forecasting for a global home appliance business. You will drive data-driven forecasts aligned to business objectives and support inventory optimization despite long overseas lead times.

This role partners with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Planning, and overseas sourcing to synchronize demand and supply and lead the monthly S&OP/IBP demand review process. Strong analytics and cross-functional influence are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze and interpret business information and regulations.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Knowledge of industry rules and guidelines.
• Strong understanding across supply chain, finance, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end demand planning with statistical forecasting and consensus planning.
• Develop rolling forecasts accounting for long overseas lead times.
• Drive forecast accuracy and bias improvements across product lines.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Supply Planning.
• Implement scenario modeling to manage risks from volatility and supply disruption.
• Establish inventory strategies to mitigate extended replenishment cycles.
• Lead monthly demand reviews and KPI reporting.
