Job summary

HARMAN is seeking a Global Demand Planning Lead to manage forecasting activities across customers and products and guide the demand planning team. You will create SKU-level plans and feed the Global S&OP process, acting as the liaison back to sales on supply constraints.

Lead cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management, and regional teams to deliver aligned demand plans and improve forecast accuracy. Uplift supply planning and BI adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, Engineering, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience in demand planning, forecasting, S&OP, or related discipline.
• Experience forecasting at SKU/channel/region/product-family level.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SKU-level demand plans for regions, customers, channels, and product groups.
• Prepare statistical and judgmental forecasts across multiple horizons using historical data, promotions, lifecycle changes, and market info.
• Support monthly demand reviews with analyses, assumptions, risks, opportunities, decisions, and action items.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management, Supply Planning, and regional teams to align demand plans.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, bias, value-add, and adherence; analyze root causes and recommend actions.
• Identify demand risks and opportunities and develop scenarios for planning decisions.
• Provide visibility into supply constraints and recovery plans for customer discussions.
• Support forecasting tools, BI solutions, automation, and predictive analytics.
