Johnson Controls, Inc. is standing up a global demand planning capability for its Data Center business. The Sr. Director leads the design, scaling, and delivery of a first-of-its-kind global demand planning organization across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

You will own the end-to-end demand signal in units and dollars, collaborating with Sales, Finance, Product Management, and plants to translate targets into a single global plan and drive capacity, capital, and supply decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years in demand planning, forecasting, and S&OP with 5+ years leading teams.
• Proven ability to establish or transform a global demand planning/S&OP process across multiple plants.
• Deep expertise in statistical forecasting, consensus planning, and forecast accuracy.
• Strong financial acumen to translate demand into units and dollars.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a first-of-its-kind global demand planning organization across Americas, EMEA, APAC.
• Own the end-to-end demand signal across products, consolidating forecasts into a single global plan.
• Lead a regional and global team of demand planning managers and analysts.
• Establish forecast accuracy targets and tracking, improve models and planning behaviors.
• Integrate demand planning with S&OP, Supply Chain, and manufacturing capacity.
• Plan for growth, NPI, and new business models with lifecycle planning.
• Chair monthly demand reviews and align with finance’s outlook and backlog planning.
• Incorporate major-customer insights into the forward plan.
