Job summary

New Era Cap is seeking a Global Demand Planner to join the Global Operations team in Buffalo, NY. The role focuses on data analysis, S&OP processes, and forecasting to drive supply chain efficiency and inventory optimization.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to monitor demand, forecast performance, and align supply with business objectives, with on-site responsibilities in Buffalo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Supply Chain or related field preferred; relevant job experience in lieu of degree will be considered
• Three to five years of experience in an analytical position
• Working knowledge of an MRP and ERP system (SAP, Blue Cherry, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, etc.)
• Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; advanced Excel and Power Point a plus
• Experience with Tableau or similar BI/analytics software (Power BI) a plus
• APICS certification in CPIM or CSCP a plus

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales data and trends to develop a statistical forecast for the Demand Plan review
• Evaluate forecast to actuals and develop talking points with the Demand Team
• Evaluate POS data and customer data to determine impact to plans
• Evaluate S&OP forecast to budget in units, revenue, COGS, open-to-buy, and inventory metrics
• Lead Ecom S&OP Demand Plan and associated sessions bi-monthly
• Lead monthly Demand Sessions for key accounts with cross-functional teams
