Lactalis USA in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Demand Planner to strengthen our forecasting and supply chain planning. You will drive S&OP forecasting processes, analyze data from Sales, Central Planning and Customer Service, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve forecast accuracy.

The role emphasizes data analysis, ERP tools and BI skills, with opportunities to lead process improvements, train junior staff, and support a safe, high‑performing work environment within Lactalis.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Majors in Supply Chain, Finance, or Statistics is preferred.
• 2+ years of Demand Planning experience is preferred.
• Experience in the Food Industry, Relative Supply Chain, or Financial Analysis preferred.
• APICS/CPIM certification is a plus.
• Ability to learn and use FuturMaster, Kinaxis, Stratum, and AS/400.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Power BI and Excel, including Pivot Tables.
• Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Mansioni

• Continuously improve the sales forecasting process within the S&OP process.
• Drive the CDP process with Commercial and Finance to align forecast with the Consensus Demand Plan.
• Obtain and analyze data from industry, Sales force, Central Planning, and Customer Service.
• Regularly validate forecast splits down to Item/D.C./week level and adjust DC week forecasts.
• Produce and publish CDP reports and forecast accuracy metrics; explain variances.
• Analyze buying patterns of key customers and forecast incentives and new product reactions.
• Work with Demand Planning manager on projects and drive new processes.
• Communicate with Central Supply Planner(s) to identify challenges.
• Perform ongoing analysis of factors affecting forecasts and develop timely forecasts.
• Provide training to new demand planners or associate demand planners.
