Job summary

Medtronic seeks a Demand Planner to support the Global Supply Chain by providing forecast analysis and monthly handoffs, ensuring alignment with sales, marketing, and customer insights. The role collaborates closely with Supply Planning, Operations, Finance, and Marketing to meet patient needs and maintain forecast integrity.

The position is onsite (at least 4 days/week) at multiple sites, with no relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.
• Experience in medical device, healthcare, life sciences, or regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to transform complex data into actionable business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Drive demand forecast accuracy using advanced analytics, statistical forecasting models, and BI.
• Own and optimize demand planning data including history, baseline forecasts, and promotions.
• Analyze demand trends and product performance to identify patterns and mitigate risks.
• Translate market insights into actionable forecasts by aligning sales, marketing, and intelligence inputs.
• Develop and refine forecasts for accounts, customers, and brands to support S&OP and inventory planning.
• Incorporate replenishment trends, POS data, promotions, capacity constraints, and lifecycle changes into plans.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, National Accounts, R&D, and Operations to align assumptions and resolve variances.
• Lead cross-functional forecast reviews and drive consensus on drivers and mitigation plans.
• Identify process improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy and planning efficiency.
