Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Delivery Leader / Program Manager to lead and expand our federal construction portfolio in the Indo-Pacific region, including Hawaii and Guam. You will develop pursuit strategies, manage schedules and budgets, and oversee staff and resources across remote locations.

The role requires extensive program management experience, travel up to 50%, and a track record of delivering high-quality project outcomes for government clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree. 10 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop pursuit strategies, including teaming partners, bidding tactics, and resources required to successfully deliver projects.
• Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and application of standard engineering or construction techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Create project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives for projects using experience in executing work in difficult locations.
• Prepare detailed statements of work with associated work breakdown structures and gains concurrence and approval from internal and external stakeholders regarding various project aspects.
• Assess potential project risk and outlines risk mitigation solutions. Ensures adherence to company and project management policies, procedures, and practices.
• Manage project costs and is responsible for ensuring profitability.
• Performs ongoing review of project status and risk, escalating as needed.
• Develops and implements project resource plan and staffing of assigned projects.
• Coordinates staffing including outside resources needed and procurement processes.
• Builds and maintains strong client relationships and ensures client satisfaction.
